Music in Firies

Here in Firies National School music is an integral part of our school life.
1st to 6th class learn the tin whistle and perform at various events throughout the year.
3rd and 4th Classes are learning the ukulele. Our tutor, Chris joins us from Music Generation every Monday. We are really enjoying the lessons.
Our school choir performs for school events including Grandparents' Day, School Masses and Christmas Carol Singing.
